Most high schools by the beach are kick back and Laguna Beach HS is no exception. Blonde locks of hair, relaxed jeans, hats wore backwards, and students riding on long boards down to the beach stayed true to the Laguna Beach way of life. MTV should shoot another series for the new class of students, we are positive it wouldn’t disappoint.

High School Tabloid is an online resource to promote high school life. We do this by posting pictures, visiting school events, and allowing users to submit their own relevant materials. I don’t understand how this promotes high school life? The captions on these pictures sound sarcastic more than anything else, and photographing minors without consent is not right -regardless of what you’re using the pictures for. If High School Tabloid is to promote high school life, then why did you focus solely on the students’ attire? Not one of these photographs reflects anything about Laguna Beach High School, other than its students’ style in clothing. Perhaps focusing your lens more on what actually reflects the school’s values -theatre, dance, water polo, art, etc- opposed to photographing random students and analyzing their fashion sense would make this site a little more profitable.
